A Conference for Science Teachers

NOAA and the North Carolina State University's Science House will host the Satellites
in Our Everyday World teachers conference in March 2003, in Raleigh, North Carolina.
The purpose of this Conference is to bring together science teachers and the scientists
and technicians who are working with satellite remote sensing data. During the course of
the conference sessions, teachers can gain a more thorough understanding of how satellites
operate, what they are being used for every day in the world around us, and how to
incorporate satellite data in their classroom teaching.
