Dust in the Upper Stratosphere Tracking Experiment and Retrieval (DUSTER)
Parthenope University of Naples

Overview:

DUSTER is an instrument designed to fly onboard stratospheric balloons with the aim of collecting dust present in the upper terrestrial stratosphere (i.e., 30-40 lm altitude).
(Principal Investigator: V. Della Corte).

In January/February (2017) a collection campaign will be performed from Antarctica. During the flight DUSTER needs to be tracked following the balloon trajectory. In addition, it will be critical for the success of the program that DUSTER be recovered.
